Check out the Rosslyn holiday market showcasing over 25 local and renowned vendors who will be offering a full variety of unique and high quality gifts. Along with the market there is also a Great Chocolate Race, Gingerbread Houses Workshop, and more!

Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas! The Musical at The National Theatre

One of my family's Christmas traditions is to watch The Grinch, and now we have the opportunity to see it live! Discover the magic of Dr. Seuss’ classic holiday tale as it comes to life on stage. Featuring the hit songs “You’re A Mean One, Mr. Grinch” and “Welcome Christmas,” The Grinch discovers there’s more to Christmas than he bargained for in this heart-warming holiday classic. Tickets are $48-108.

November 18, 2016 - January 8, 2017
Bring the family to enjoy the magical Winter Walk of lights at Meadowlark Botanical Gardens in Vienna, Virginia. The garden is transformed into a half-mile, animated walk of lights. After your walk, feel free to hang around and roast marshmallows and drink hot chocolate by the fire. Tickets are $12 per adult.

Thanksgiving - Just after New Year's Day
Want to see some Christmas lights but don’t want to get out of your car and walk around? You can experience the Bull Run Festival of Lights in the comfort and warmth of your car. Enjoy 2.5 miles of illuminated holiday light displays. Cost is $15-20 per car.

November 24 - January 2
Season’s Greenings: National Parks and Historic Places at the Botanic Gardens
Throughout the U.S. Botanic Garden Conservatory, they will celebrate the 100th anniversary of the National Park Service and the 50th anniversary of the National Historic Preservation Act, including displaying one of the largest indoor trees decked out with ornaments from national parks. In this year's model train show, the trains will chug around through and above plant-based recreations of more than 50 iconic national parks and historic places. This event is FREE!

Black Friday - New Year's Eve
The Christmas Pop-Up Bar, Miracle on 7th Street
Dig into the Christmas spirit at the DC Christmas Bar! Hang out and sip on a “Gretchen, Stop Trying to Make Fetch Happen” cocktail and munching on a Thanksgiving Sandwich and some “Schweddy Balls.” The bar and drinks are decked out in holiday decor. Cocktails are all about $13.
